DHS Now Forbids Gender-Identity Discrimination

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a revised Anti-Discrimination Policy Statement to include prohibition against gender-identity discrimination, included now within forbidden discrimination based upon sex. The agency already prohibited discrimination on account of race, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, marital status, parental status, political affiliation, whistleblower or EEO activity retaliation, and military service.
